Aldo Valdez (b. 1976, Richmond, TX) is a Mexican-American painter based in Portland, Oregon. He earned his BFA from Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles in 2000. In 1997, he joined the Los Angeles artist collective and guerrilla art group, Dispute Resolution Services, and exhibited in several prominent LA galleries, including Kantor Gallery, China Art Objects Gallery, and Roberts & Tilton Gallery. From 1998 to 2019, his career shifted to project managing fine art exhibitions for major institutions and collaborating with renowned artists, including the Sam Francis Estate, Gagosian Gallery, Paul Thiebaud Gallery, sculptor Stephen de Staebler, and painter Wayne Thiebaud.
